"My favorite place to eat in Layton. Every time I come to town this is the place that's on my mind for breakfast. The hustle and bustle atmosphere, quick and delicious food make this a must go to place. Sill's is always busy but they move people through there very quickly. The price and quality of the food is amazing. I recommend trying this place."
"Great food! I love going here eating my brunch on a day off from work. Staff is great and helpful. It is always busy so prepare to wait if you have a big to large group. The scones here are very good and my favorite is the Boss breakfast. It is always consistent on the taste and texture of their foods. I recommend this cafe."
"I went to Sill’s for my first time and they give a pretty excellent diner experience. The scones are perfect, I would go back just for the scones. The rest of the food was good, but not memorable. We had about a 40 minute wait time and there were many people that ended up leaving because of the wait. I would be sure to come when you’re not in a hurry. You can tell that this place is definitely a local favorite. The staff was also very kind and attentive- 5 star customer service. It was a nice experience."
"I've passed by many times, but never at a time when a meal was asking to be eaten. I knew we would be in the area for a meal. With so many five star reviews, I felt that not eating here would be a disservice. The staff here is friendly. The locals obviously love it. We ordered a scone, some chicken strips with fries, and a spicy chicken sandwich with tater tots. The scone came out hot, with a huge scoop of honey butter. We wasted about half of the butter. They really don't hold back on the butter. The scone was fresh, soft, and delicious to the taste. We devoured it in about 5 seconds. It wasn't small, but we were hungry, and it was tasty. Dinner came a few minutes later. I considered getting the deluxe chef salad, but upon learning what makes it deluxe (the addition of sliced roast beef), I decided on other food. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with tater tots and chicken strips with fries. The chicken sandwich comes deconstructed, so make sure you are ready to put the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and mayo on it. It didn't take long to see one glaringly important part of this meal. I found that I am not a local. Don't get me wrong, some of the food was good. The tots were crisp and as near ambrosia as tots can get. The fry sauce was meh. I ended up making my own with the leftover mayo, ketchup, cholula, and pepper. The chicken was flavorful, just not spicy. It was crisp and not overcooked. The bun was soft. The fries were, well, I think the picture speaks for itself. Overall, the locals love this place, so if generic diner food or scrumptious scones are up your alley, stop in. Next time, I think I'll give the breakfast a try."
