"I have 3 kids that are going, or have gone through this school. The teachers are great, the principals have been great. They get good funding and have fun events for the kids and community. There are things that could be improved above the level of this school, but I think they do the best with what they are given. Many parents in the neighborhood send their kids to the nearby charter school. This bothers me because my kids don't go to school with all of their neighbors. My oldest has friends that went to that other school and are in high school together now. They seemed to have been given the same education and had nearly identical experiences. I definitely support the neighborhood public school."

"[EDITED JAN 2016 TO IMPROVE THE RATING] After being shocked by the lack of maintenance, disregard for the safety of the students (that we witnessed first hand), and poor performance of the inner-city school that we were in the boundary of when we moved to the area, we did an immediate transfer to the Granite School District which put us at Rosecrest Elementary. We've since bought a house that adds an extra five minutes to the commute but both my children are insistent upon staying at THIS school. You can't argue with kids that are happy with their school, simple as that."
