Café Zupas 7632 South Campus View Drive, West Jordan, UT 84084

"Please get a new manager or supervisor! Thursday night and there were about 7 people ahead of me. There were 8 workers behind the counter. I got there at 7:12 and I didn’t get checked out until 7:44!!!! Hot food was cold by the time we got it and my blood sugar had plummeted. Even the customer behind me yelled “WHAT IS GOING ON??!! I don’t blame him. There were two girls chit chatting behind the counter by the cash register. Where is the leadership? I could tell some of the workers were doing their best but this location needs help streamlining their process. Please, please, please, someone intervene. I have been going to this Zupas for over 8 years now. I used to go several times a month. I am speaking up now because this is has been typical service for the last year or so. Other locations don’t seem to have this issue. Not sure what’s going on at Jordan Landing but plan at least for a half an hour wait for your food."

"I bought two kid meals and in my daughters soup there was a fly or bug she almost swallow it it’s disgusting. Fruit bad too old, not a good taste."

"Pretty disappointing! We started at the salad end told the gal while she was making someone else a salad that we just wanted soup and a sandwich and she continued to ask questions and take our order and then tell us oh you need to move down the line so we moved down the line and started over. We could tell she wasn't listening to start with. There were numerous people on the beginning of the line and only one guy doing too many things at the end of the line. Passing out to go orders , stuffing bread and strawberries in sacks, ringing up people . As you can see in the pictures the soup was just a very small scoop and the sandwich which was supposed to be a deluxe only had one small slice of tomato for the entire sandwich. Deluxe my eye! And everything was cold it took so long for them to get us through the line so we could pay!"

"Don’t come during dinner time. They focus mainly on go orders than the customers standing in the restaurant. This isn’t my first experience, it’s every dinner night we try to eat here. You’ll stand in the order line for 25-35 minutes and watch them take care of 10+ to go meals while you wait. I asked why they put to go orders first and they say it’s because they are on a time crunch so they take priority."

"I eat at this Zupas regularly, I have for years. I’m reconsidering this. Lately it’s been so dysfunctional. If there is a line be prepared to wait a long time. Also if there is not a line be prepared to wait a long time. The label printer for online orders and those orders will be the priority over you even when you are standing right in front of the employee. They will ask you what you are ordering no less than five times. Seriously though. I think I have to tell every single employee behind the counter my order each time I eat here. Then none of the trays have been washed. We looked through like twenty trays. The employee was not concerned. All the trays were dirty and clearly unwashed. Like old food and messes on each tray. This seems obvious. Just wash the tray’s. This is the part that prompted the review. They switched my sandwich with one that was cold and hard. The sandwich that I received must have been sitting somewhere for hours. Bear in mind I eat here all the time. I expect better. Do better."
