"The shrimp fried rice is good, the sweet and sour chicken is also good but every time we get it, it is a bit over cooked but once you you dip in the sauce it’s fine. And the egg rolls are also very good but if it had cabbage and carrots that would be cool but they’re still good. The egg flower soup is good I’ve never had it with corn so that was new but it was also very good! And every order comes with a box of white rice which is think is cool! And I got all this food for only $32.00 I’m definitely coming back to this place. Highly recommended."

"I ate here for the first time today. I got the sweet and sour chicken lunch special. The chicken is good. Not the typical style of sweet and sour where it's like breaded chicken balls. They instead breaded a breast and chopped in slices. The chicken is overcooked, but the flavor is good. The fried rice is delicious. I like that they have larger egg chunks as I feel a lot of Chinese places skimp on eggs. Additionally, serving size for the price is LEGIT. $9.20 for the lunch special and I have a MOUNTAIN of rice. They are definitely cheaper than most Chinese restaurants. The egg roll is different. I think it's chicken and rice noodle maybe? I do think I'd prefer a more traditional one with cabbage in it and stuff in it, BUT, it's fried to a nice golden perfection. I also like their sweet and sour sauce. The staff is very friendly, though the restaurant is a little run down. Regardless, I'll eat here again. Thanks for lunch today!"

"Never been to this place before until today! Got a General Chicken lunch which included the chicken and a pint of white rice (I poured sauce on top). It is ALOT of chicken, and it's not all battered with a bunch of flour like some places do.. it's a good portion of chicken. Cost $9.00(tax included). Good price! Better than going to Carl's Jr or Mickey D's and getting a combo for $11. I will go here again when the chance comes up!"

"Golden Pearl has some very good food, and their prices are very reasonable. A FAIR WARNING: THEY GIVE YOU A LOT OF FOOD. We would have ordered about half as much as we did, had we known. An order of the (meat) fried rice would feed 2 adults, I think. If you order $35 or more, they give you a free order of potstickers. Photos are of (1) cashew chicken, (2) spicy wontons, and (3) roasted pork fried rice. I would have given 5 stars, but the wait was a bit excessive."
