"I have had Geico insurance for years. I purchased a new truck and the underwriter said that since I was using my older truck for deliveries on commercial jobs that I had to find other insurance. So I did and I replaced the insurance on that truck with Mercury;Insurance. Geico decided to go and cancel the wrong policy and they canceled my 2023 Sierra pick up truck and they would not share the phone records with me which shows that they are hiding the facts in the phone records as well as not wanting to fix the problem. So as a result , I am letting everybody else know that GEICO is just as much of a scam as everyone else. I had required that they return all of the money for the policy that they were supposed to cancel, but didn’t since I have coverage through Mercury;Insurance. The verdict is still out on that."

"One of Geico's insured drivers hit my car and fled the scene. The driver got charged with a hit and run, but Geico still won't pay for the damages their insured did to my car. Their insured driver has had multiple hit and runs and road rage incidents. Absolutely stunning that Geico would have someone that hits others vehicles for sport and defend that."

"My husband and I had cancelled our motorcycle insurance back in 2022. Turns out Geico never quit charging us. And is now saying if we cannot find a receipt saying we sold the motorcycle that we will not be refunded. And even if we find the receipt I know we cancelled the policy months before that. So warning to anyone, if you try to cancel your policy keep a close eye out to make sure they are not still charging you."

I saved 52% by switching to Progressive… I have GEICO a chance to lower my rate, they didn’t, so they lost 100% of my rate to their competition!
