"We really love what they have done to the place. So many nice upgrades have been done. The office guy is still the same one as before and he has always been so helpful and friendly."

"Great location but the room we had was terrible. We had a hole in the ceiling, mold on the bathroom walls, peeling paint and the chair cushions were filthy. We had hope it would be decent with all the updates but the only thing that had been updated on this room was the outside paint."

"The place is being updated. The rooms are clean, the beds however were a little hard for our taste. I would stay here again."

"New owners have come in and in a matter of weeks completely turned the place around. Renovations underway and paying attention to the small things like replacing the bed linens that were probably the same vintage as the buildings. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!"

"We come to the dunes 3-4 times a year for last 4 years and we always stay at Trails Inn! Our rooms are always clean we have never had a problem with bugs of any kind here, nice hot showers to wash the sand off after a day out on the dunes, it is quit, a/c works great in with he summer and the heaters work great in the winter, the property is kept clean and maintained! the staff is amazing they are friendly! If recommend if you are coming to the dunes stay with the staff at Trails Inn!"
