41 Motel

"On 11/2 I stayed at the 41Motel and it was very clean and cozy. Reminded us of our grandparents house. Had a screen door and brown shag carpet and 80s decor. Bathroom tile was not molded like older roadside motels. Bed was comfy and warm as well. I give it definitely 4/5 stars for great price, clean and convenient driveway, and very nice older man running it."

"Room was very clean & everyone was friendly but...the bathroom was extremely difficult to navigate as the small toilet was behind the sink. Also room was very hot! Even with the AC at full blast for 40 minutes it was hot! Finally figured out that the heater/(water heater?) was on and had to turn it off. The shower pressure was poor but the hot water was definitely working overtime! All in all, not a bad stay, just an odd room set up."

"Very quiet and clean. Dog friendly with a huge, shaded area for them to run and play. Nice management. No complaints. This was our 2nd stay and we're looking forward to our next one. There aren't enough of these nice, older motels left."

"Rooms were clean. Pretty nice for a small old motel! However I'd reccomend bringing your own pillows if you stay here. We got 2 pillows on our queen bed so me and my husband each had 1.. which would have been fine if the pillows were paper thin. Woke up with neck and shoulder pain. Otherwise a nice place to stay."

"I loved staying here. The 41 Motel has a very quaint, rustic vibe. The owners and small staff are very friendly and helpful. The room had a queen bed, comfortable wooden chair, and a combination dresser / desk and chair. It was very clean. The bathroom was small but retro. We have stayed in many 4 star hotels and eaten at 4 star restaurants but there is nothing better than staying in a small town and eating locally in family owned restaurants. You may not get all the bells and whistles of large hotels and restaurants but you will sleep good and you will love the home cooked meals and the beauty and ambience of being in the country. There is a lot of potential for this area. There are pictures already posted for this location. I did not add any. We would stay here again."
