"If it's important to you to study martial arts at a dojo that functions more like a school than a gym while still getting a decent workout, then this is the place for you."
"Great place to learn proper Judo and grappling techniques. Good culture, the opposite of most McDojo's in Oklahoma City."
"You will not find a better dojo in the state of Oklahoma. Classes are both welcoming and instructive. I've just completed my first month of Judo and I can safely say that it's some of the best martial arts instruction I've ever received. The philosophy of "mutual benefit" is on full display here as every student is ready and willing to help you learn and grow. As one of the oldest dojos in OKC, I truly believe it's one of the city's hidden gems."
"The instructor is very knowledgeable in all aspects of Judo. I would recommend Windsong to anyone interested in Judo, especially an adult beginner with interest in the art. The dojo is very welcoming to beginners. A typical Judo class was fairly small, so you could depend on personalized instruction and help with your technique from both the instructor and the black belts that had been attending classes there for years."
"Didn’t have a great experience here. I was accused of writing a bad review that I didn’t because I was out for a month, and had previously asked questions about their methods. They rarely train against tough resistance, which is bad because it can give students a false confidence that they can actually defend themselves and that is unusual for a Judo school. They claim it’s to prevent injury, but last time I checked, that’s how you learn to defend yourself. Needless to say, glad I went back to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu."
