"Saw one of the candle light concerts and was great performance, theater venue was really nice. Only issue, on the floor was 3 seating sections, if the back seats were tired it would be excellent, the are some big boys in Oklahoma, and most of them were in front of me."
"We attended a candlelight concert here (a string quartet playing the music of Hans Zimmer). The venue is stunning and filled with classic Hollywood charm. The way the seats were arranged was a bit tight and uncomfortable, and parking for the concert was out on the street (no parking lot). Besides those two inconveniences, the evening was really nice. Drinks were served at the bar near the entrance (NA drinks, too) and the sound quality for the concert was perfect."
"We attended a Christmas Music/Nutcracker string quartet performance on a Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. The Yale was a lovely venue and we WOULD attend again for a similar event. The interior retained beautiful architectural details, clean bathrooms, and a small bar with basic cocktails, and limited beer and wine selection. While we enjoyed the interior venue and didn't have issues finding parking, the neighborhood was not one that I'd want to walk around on my own (it reminded me of back home, TBH, and that isn't a recommendation.) Arriving at the Yale there were multiple individuals circling intersections on bicycles (one of which who tailed my husband and I) and private security was in evidence at the theatre. Having said that, when the concert let out the street was flooded with people so walking back to our car was no issue and we didn't feel like we were constantly having to look over our shoulders."
"We came here to enjoy a surprise date my husband arranged. It was a candlelight concert playing Vivaldi. It was such a sweet night together. They have parking lots nearby for the Yale specifically, I always appreciate the stress of parking taken off my shoulders. He bought the tickets online through an app. We were greeted and there were no lights but candles. It was so romantic. We were escorted to our seating area, and my biggest complaint will be the seats. They were crammed in together so you were touching shoulders with other guests. And the seat backs were NOT comfortable to be on for 1 hour with no breaks. Man I cannot get over that detail. There are seat cushions but bring some heavy coat or something to drape over the chair back to save yourself. I really enjoyed the concert itself. The music was beautiful & no pictures were allowed until the last song to help prevent distractions. The quartet introduced themselves and each song they played. It felt really welcoming and the sound really filled the space. There is a bar for drinks but no food to my knowledge. Bathrooms are vibrant - the women's was all pink! Very clean. We came again a few weeks later for a catered event so they do rent out the space for parties or events. It was a great night overall."
"I had the pleasure of attending October's candlelight concert "A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics," and it was a hauntingly spectacular event. The ambiance was set with the gentle flicker of countless candles, making an eerie and enchanting atmosphere. The musicians delivered most iconic Halloween classics with precision and flair. From "Thriller" to "This is Halloween," each piece was executed with impeccable skill and a deep appreciation for the spooky season. The Yale Theater ambiance complemented the spooky and nostalgic atmosphere of the concert. The acoustics were exceptional, allowing the haunting melodies to fill every corner of the theater. It's wonderful to see a historic venue like The Yale Theater serving as a versatile space for events like this."
