"He is so smart, I came to him with no hope for anything. Talking to him it’s just a breath of fresh air, someone that is actually willing to help me and understand me instead of pushing medication. I went to REDROCK when I moved here about 16 months ago and the prescribing nurse would just look at me and say she was stumped and didn’t know what other medication to try since i had done them all….. So that was very discouraging and if I hadn’t found Dr Ellis then I don’t even know where I’d be mentally. "I have been seeing Dr. Ellis for two years. He is the only psychiatrist I have had that I feel really listens to me and asks for my input in my treatment. He also does not put me on more meds than I need to be on. He begins every appointment with "I'm here to listen" or "update me on what's going on.'
