"Pollen is the worst this year and I have been miserable but i had two great experiences at Acsension St. john in Sand Springs, Ok. 1st. I called to see Dr Coggins and everyone was booked. they called in a script and I was covered for the weekend. 2nd. Monday I was still bad. i booked an appt on line with the first available doctor in late afternoon. Soon after, after the reception called and was able to move my appt up in the morning. i saw Dr Ruth Johnson. Although i have been very pleased with every provider here, Dr Ruth goes over and above to explain my treatments and really listens. i received great care. It also means so much that the receptionist took the time to find me an earlier appt. If I could I would give A St. john SS 11 out of 10 stars. thank you jeanie"

"Dr Herrmann and his staff are the most friendly and attentive I have been to. Dr Herrmann gave me some results I was not happy about, but he answered any and all questions I had, and made sure I understood everything!! He and his nurse and med aide are the very best ever!!!"
"They couldn’t find my HIPPA form from my first visit. Had to sign another! Had to wait over 30 min once they took me back to a room. Then they want to give me a finger prick to check my sugar level and yet we’re going to have me do blood work with an A1C. That is doing something twice IMO. I said no to the finger prick! I have only had to do blood work yearly I got my A1C to a 6 and without reason, I see on purpose in doing blood check every 3 months or 6 mo. My scripts should have refills for a year when I do sn annual check up! I was suppose to have had a mammogram in July and that got so screwed up I never got one and this was suppose to be a Medicare annual checkup when I scheduled it but they didn’t do it and told me to schedule another spot for it!!! I was asked about whether or not to have an oncologist and I had to tell her we decided at my first spot until I had a problem, there was no need for one! Also I was no longer taking my pill from my breast cancer in 2015 bc my dr in TX told me it was no longer necessary and yet I was told I had to start it again and I am having no problems… I don’t understand that! The Dr in TX took me off Met Forman and put me on Januvia bc it was a better med and now they are taking me off and putting me back on met Forman diabetes medicine. I don’t get it! And when I went it it was never asked about my mammogram. Never mentioned that I had lost 15 lbs! And the for me the main reason I can back was because I’m my first visit I had asked the Dr to write a letter for me for an emotional support cat. We had a lengthy discussion and she finally agreed. I called several times to see about picking up the letter and the last time was told that it would be at the front desk waiting for me to get it! Well when I stopped to pick it up they could find no record of it, talked to the nurse and she told me I would have to make s another appt to see the Dr about it because she had never heard anything about it and would have to discuss it with me!!! I was not a happy camper!!! Because that was a bold face lie!!! I HATE that you can’t call and talk to a live person for anything you can only text and no one calls to discuss it with you! Ever since I was diagnosed with breast cancer I have become very proactive in my health car and I’m not satisfied with how things are done here and will be looking for another Dr! Also when I lived in OK before when I had my breast cancer, I saw a female PA then too and NEVER once did I have to see a “Doctor.” I got excellent care and would have gone back to here but she is in Owosso and I’m moving to Sand Springs and was trying to use someone from my community! I’m very sorry that this didn’t work out for me but but also my legal name is Deborah but I put on my file in BOLD print I go by Debby!!! And as yet I’ve never had a conversation yet where I was called “Debby!” Personally I find that offensive that someone who is suppose to care about your well being and knows so much about you can’t follow a simple request!!!"
