Jarett has a massive breadth of knowledge and always has great insight, regardless of the genre or style we're tackling that day. A typical lesson might include some discussion on technique development or theory, and then a song to go along with that. Lessons are highly personalized according to your interests. So I'll often bring a song idea, and we'll start there, break it down, and work through it. Or Jarett will suggest something new and interesting that I might not have initially thought of. Either way, there's always something fresh to learn. And there's always an emphasis not just on learning the parts, but why the parts work in a musical context. Notes are provided in an e-mail follow up, often with tabs, chord charts and reference links included."
