"I called for an appointment and asked the receptionist if there was a doctor their who I could see that practiced cognitive therapy. She told me "no" they only practice prescribing medications and refilling prescriptions. I told her I was already on a medication that was working, but needed to see a doctor for consultation. She said they only prescribe medications and that was the entirety of their practice - just pushing medications - no real help for people who needed help. I thanked her for answering the phone.
