"It’s 5:24pm and bus still has not delivered the kids. Tried to call the office but directed straight to voicemail. No messages from them indicating there would be any delay. Feeling frustrated and concerned."
"The elementary children should not be riding the bus with the high schoolers something is not right. And I know my complaint can only go so far but if something was to happen that is definitely going to be putting the children in danger"
"Update: My children have arrived at school at 10am since the first day of this school year! HOW?? WHY?? First 2 days of school 2022-2023 school year, the bus for my kids was over an hour late! Late to school for them, and late to work for me… thank god I have good neighbors who stepped up and helped watch them. This is unacceptable. My kids are missing school due to these issues, and currently, while I write this, the bus is working on being super late again. It’s supposed to arrive at 8:39… it’s 9:03am Edmond, what do y’all intend to do about this? Also, last year and the year before, the bus was also late daily, but nothing like this. Maybe 20 minutes max, but to my knowledge, my kids were never Late to school due to bus issues"
"It seems like since our kids have become bus riders, we have had nothing but issues. Most have been easily resolved by a quick, not so nice phone call, but our 7th grader has had nothing but issues with his driver since the beginning of school. He's a band student, who is required to bring his instrument to school, every day. He plays the alto sax, which is a fairly decent sized instrument. He also is an athlete, which the schools don't provide a place to store equipment, so he's also required to bring his with him every day that he has practice. For the Summit baseball team, he is one of the catchers, which means he has additional gear. He was told about a week ago, by the bus driver that he was "getting sick and tired of having to deal with his bag" Well today he was told he would no longer be allowed to ride on the bus with the bag. I called the bus barn before 7:30 this morning, and left a msg with an individual. I then left a written report around 11:00AM because I had yet to be responded to. FINALLY at 2PM I get a call saying there's nothing they can do, he's not going to be able to ride the bus with his equipment. This stop is one of, if not THE last stop on this route. It is a very crowded bus, where my son says he has a hard time finding a seat for anyways. Too few drivers, too crowded of buses and honestly questioning the integrity of a few of the drivers as well. Over all, it's a necessity that we have to utilize, but really it is a disorganized mess."
"They never notify parents when the bus is going to be late. I can understand 10 minutes even 15. But 30 or more and no info where your child is or when they will get home is unacceptable. We are in a digital age. This needs to get resolved. Parents need to be notified."
