"Took my 5 year old great nephew for his 1st horseback riding lesson. Very patient with him and good at explaining what to do."
"River Run has a really great summer camp that familiarizes kids with the care and keeping of horses! My child loved it tremendously and now wants to take formal lessons. It was well worth our time to make this happen!"
"We had our daughter’s 2nd birthday party here and it was so much fun! The staff was beyond helpful and nice. It’s incredible to see the amount of hard work they put into their craft. I will mention that make sure ALL of the kids who will be riding are available because they need to be taught basic safety before they ride the horse. It is taught in a group setting so it can’t be performed until everyone who is going to ride is available. Just make sure you push promptness to your guests. Overall, great experience for us and our little girl!"
"We attended a child’s birthday party here and the facility is very nice, very clean, and the horses appear to be very well taken care of. However, the 2 ladies that were working there were very rude, extremely impatient with the kids and even raised their voices at them several times. At one point when a child (who appeared to be around the age of 4) was getting on a horse one of the ladies snapped at her telling her “put your left foot in the stirrup and not your right! We’re not riding backwards here!” Then there was another incident where the other lady working told a little girl if she didn’t brush the horse first then she wasn’t doing any riding. Remind you these were small children… Some had never been around horses so they were nervous. Especially after the lady had just told them that the animals weighed over 1000 pounds and could smash their feet if they got too close…. Overall my daughter had a great time and fun with her friends so that’s all that matters. I just wish the staff could’ve been more patient and friendly. I was actually considering signing my daughter up for their summer camp next year but will definitely be reconsidering."
"My daughter had her 4yr birthday party here with friends from her class as well as family. The staff chose a horse according to the size of the kids wanting to ride. They all got rides in the indoor arena. The staff went over safety with the kids and staff about the animals and what not to do. I had dropped off supplies earlier this week to be used for the party and when I got there everything was setup. I just had to show up with cake, pizza and kids. No stress, no fuss, no worries, just a good time. The price was also very fair for the venue and help I recieved. I will be doing their riding camps for my daughter in the future. They are nothing but awesome."
