"The Old Eucha School House one of the last remnants of the original town of what's referred to as Old Eucha, the School was built as part of the WPA (Works Progress Administration) between 1935 to 1943. It was built next to the original one room wooden Schoolhouse that taught classes K-12 which sat next to the Round Spring Church which is still in existence and used in the town of Eucha. The last class at the school was in 1952 with the creation of the lake the town of Eucha was relocated to it's present location, besides the round spring church building which is roughly 150yo several of the homes in the present day town of Eucha were moved up through the original road a half mile east of the School. After years of neglect the residents and family members that once lived in the town petition Tulsa to allow them to build the roof and clean the area that you see today."
