Brownie's Hamburger Stand 2130 South Harvard Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74114

"Let me start out by saying that this is a very busy place to eat. We were there almost an hour and it stayed at least 3/4 full the whole time. We both ordered a hamburger steaks, moms two sides were tots and onion rings and mine were fries and tots. Neither of us cared for the steaks (I believe this mainly due to preference) and the side orders were HUGE amounts and were great. The establishment was clean and the service was very good. I don't think I would choose this restaurant as a first choice, mainly because the helpings are so big that (at least for us) it would be a waste of food."

"Onion rings were served 45 minutes before my hamburger. They looked like the oil in the fryer needed changed. The hamburger was okay. The restaurant was just kind of dirty and ran down. It seems like they are selling that down home old fashioned hamburger shop experience but not delivering on it. The staff was telling people they were closed even though they were open till three and it was only 2:30. There are several places I can think of that have better burgers and offer a better experience."

"Warm and inviting place with friendly staff and really good, freshly prepared food! The fries were obviously freshly cut and cooked perfectly. They were delicious! They were lightly salted, allowing everyone to add their perfect about of seasoning to them, which is perfect. Since not everyone at my table likes the same level of saltiness. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient and you can tell that there are local regulars who enjoy this place often. This was a great stop on our recent burger quest and we were not disappointed. There was a bit more seating here, than some other burger joints as well. We did not have to wait for a seat, but did take the last available booth, so that was lucky for us. The pies looked amazing and were crazy tall. We didnt have room for pie when we visited but I definitely have to try them on my next trip! We will visit again!"

"Hold up buttercup...you gotta go to Brownie's. This place is on fire and very likely the best burger place in Tulsa. Prices are very reasonable, you only want to order a half/half fries and rings...huge. Burgers have a great taste and the pie is amazing. Hopefully you'll be fortunate enough to have Dee S working; amazing service!"
