"It was so sad to see how they have ruined taste and quality of their food. Being vegetarian, we didn’t find any dish that tasted good. Everything lacked in flavor. I understand, they want to cater to different geography so food will be mild to medium in spice level but it was just lacking flavors which is very disappointing. On the buffet today, they had Kadhai paneer which tasted sweet which is mind boggling. We have been going to Tandoori guys for several years, but being back after a year or so, we thought food has been degraded and really hope they can improve."
"We just had the most wonderful experience here tonight. We walked in with a party of eight without reservations and they quickly and graciously accommodated us. My wife and I have eaten here many times together but we brought our whole family for an impromptu birthday celebration...almost none of them had ever eaten at an Indian restaurant before. Everyone loved the delicious food offered on the large buffet and the service is really top notch. The owners and staff were eager to please and just made the entire meal so much more enjoyable. They really made us feel like family and everyone kept talking about how anxious they were to come back again. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food in a comfortable environment with friendly waitstaff. Many thanks to the very attentive and thoughtful owners."
"I love dining here for their buffet and this was my first time purchasing from the menu. Although the food wasn’t great this time I’ll give them a 4stars because they provide good customer service and their buffet is good. Maybe it was an off day for them. Here is my review of all the food I ordered and ate: Most disappointing meal was Tandoori prawn. Coming at almost 19$, it was the most expensive item and most underwhelming out of all. It didn’t seem like prawns. I think it was small shrimps with 10-12 pieces. It was mainly onions and bell peppers. Flavorless. I’ll rate it 2/5. Chicken tandoori- 3.9/5 (plain and lacked flavor) Samosa- 4.7/5 Madras fish fry- 3.5/5 (thought it was going to be a whole fish fried and not battered up fish in chopped pieces. It was a little too salty for my liking. Not worth almost 18$) Dal tadka- 3/5 (a certain spice that I don’t like is in here but I can tolerate it) Spinach pakora- 2.5/5 (way too salty and the batter could be better. The sauce needs some touch as well) Garlic naan- 2.5/5 (very thin. I wanted a parotta, not naan. I just didn’t know which one it was so I asked the guy and he said it was naan but now I know parotta is what I wanted) Chicken vindaloo-2.9/5 (tried and not a fan of the infusion"
"Our last visit was 2018. Then it was nice to have a new ethnic food option in town. The food wasn’t spectacular, even so it was a welcome opportunity for something different. Obviously not enticing enough to make me a regular customer. We were looking to take a break from Mexican food today without having to drive across town. Time for a revisit to Tandoori Guys. I am hardly an expert on Indian food, but I can sort out good from bad. Some of the buffet items weren’t great. The stand out for me was the Tandoori chicken, Tikka masala, and the rice dish Biryani. The meat in the Biryani didn’t look the great so just the rice for me. It went well with the Tikka masala sauce. Tandoori chicken is pretty hard to screw up. Theirs was moist and flavorful. I tried a little of everything on the buffet. The other offerings were not that great. The Mango pudding was not even close to being pudding. More like mango flavored milk. I will try Tandoori Guys again in about another five years."
