Roys Chicken Jenks

"Great customer service at register, but that was the extent of contact. Everyone was sitting and talking right beyond the counter and food prep. I assume waiting for customers. No one checked to see how the meal was. Our coleslaw was good, but the chicken and roll were lukewarm and very dry. The chicken gravy tasted like flour. If people come in to eat, cook it to order. Don't serve us the remnants. OUR FOOD SHOULD HAVE BEEN HOT AND FRESH."

"This is cafeteria style - food made in batches and kept hot. Go at usual meal times when the food is fresh! (Don't believe everything you read about dried-out food.) Chunks are tender with flavorful breading. Everything hot and tasty. My kids prefer Roy's over Chicken Express and Cane's. We're pleased Roy's came to Jenks and we'll be back! Update: I am not changing my rating - still 5 stars. We have done Roy's multiple times, always dinner time (between 5 and 6 pm) always a 25 chunk meal with sides. The chicken chunks are hot, juicy, and fresh, with a light, crispy breading. The sides are good too. I do feel that time over time, there has been consistently excellent service at the drive up window, my order has always been correct, and the food seems to have improved in overall quality. Take the negative reviews for what they are, but I'm a big believer in everyone has "off" days and I will continue to visit."

"We were SO excited for this. Chicken flavor was good. Even though some other reviews say otherwise, it wasn’t bland! Mashed potatoes not bad. Mac and cheese absolutely 0 flavor. Slaw wasn’t bad, on the sweeter side. Portion sizes were very small. Likely won’t be a go-to for us :( I hope they can increase portion sizes and flavor up their sides, the potential is there."

"1. Cobbler was very bitter and cold. 2. Chicken and Mac and cheese no seasoning and didn't taste fresh. 3. Banana pudding with no banana was just pointless and was a awful taste."

"Brand new open floor plan with outdoor eating. They open at 10:30 and we went early to beat the rush. Good food and big helpings. I had a fresh hot juicy breast complete with coleslaw and a dinner roll. Reasonable prices. Parking is a little limited. Some construction makes it difficult to get around. But SO worth it!"
