"A great place to catch a business lunch. The food was fantastic! We had some great appetizers! The Blackened Alligator Bites, Hush Puppies, and the Crab Dip were great to share. I do think the service was rather slow. The Appetizers arrived quickly but after that it seemed like it took a long time for the entrees to arrive! I would highly recommend giving this place a try!"
"My first time at Bourbon Street Cafe and definitely not my last. The food was perfect and there was nothing wrong. We had the best waiter I've ever had. Tom was attentive, professional and accommodating. Our drinks were bevy empty. I got the ribeye but really wanted the Oscar topping and Tom made it happen. I 100% recommend this restaurant!"
"The food was good. Alligator bites weren't rubbery & cooked to death like they usually are around here & actually tasted fairly fresh though I'm sure they may be frozen for shipping. The steak was actually cooked perfectly. My husband got his blackened & it wasn't too spicy. I had mine seasoned and seared, it could have been seasoned a bit more, it was nicely seared though & as I said perfectly cooked on the inside. Wait staff was nice and these are all the positives! Now a word of advice. They play live music & it is VERY LOUD. If you came for a quiet dinner, go somewhere else. If you are overwhelmed or over stimulated by small loud places, you might ask to be seated in the back away from the band. I know we will next time. I left with a headache, it was that loud. I guess we could have asked to move but I didn't want to be "that" person."
"I really enjoyed dinner here. We had a large party of 13 which typically means food comes out slower and things just take longer. Not the case tonight! Everything was great from the oyster appetizers to the entrees (I had the Beef and Bayou ribeye). Highly recommended"
"Went for Sunday brunch.. lovely! Had live jazz duo playing that set off a nice chill vibe. Meal started with alligator bites which were light, crispy with a spicy dipping sauce. Delish. I had napoleon benedict which had a crab cake and potatoes. Biscuit was a tad dry and big but dish was still very good. Hubby had etoufee (a fave he gets everywhere we go) and friend had strawberry waffles. His had nice spice and huge portion. Her waffle had cream cheese fresh strawberries and real maple syrup. She loved it! Of course I had have a cocktail so I got a spicy bloody Mary and she got a lite skinny margarita. Bartender made perfect drinks, very attentive and great sense of humor! Great meal definitely will go back for this brunch spot."
