"Good - **** Had a great experience at Fixins. Have been hearing about them but got a chance to have lunch recently. Ordered the 2 bone-in chicken (dark) with leg and thigh along with waffle. Food was delivered onto the table within 7-8 mins which I didnt expect. Usually fried chicken is breaded a lot in most chicken places but here I saw a balance of meat and bread which was good. The flavor was good too(mild). Hot sauce is available if you want to heat it up. The waffle was topped with powdered sugar with an amazing hot syrup. Waffle drenched in syrup was tasty. I wish the waffle was bigger and the price was lower. But no complaints. It was a great experience. Something that can compete to Waldos Chicken & Beer. They have some really good dishes on the menu. Worth a try!"

"This was my third time going to Fixins and honestly, each time has been amazing. The food is incredible! I’ve tried something different each time but I always (somehow) end up with the fried deviled eggs. This time I went for a later dinner, about 8 pm, and got the Soul Caesar salad. The cornbread croutons added sweet and crunch to the bite, and the arugula mixed with the romaine made for a perfect combo of crunch and flavor. I immediately dug in, but the portions were so big that I had my fill and then some, and STILL had to leave some on my plate (see picture). It was really busy, but when my server was taking care of someone else another team member stepped in to check on me. I left full and feelin good because the atmosphere is just such a vibe. Will be back - again!!"

"I would highly recommend coming to Fixins to all my friends and family. The atmosphere was great. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It is conveniently located downtown and there’s no way you can’t miss the sign and the restaurant. The food was seasoned to perfection. The only negative thing I could mention is that the macaroni and cheese needed some help and prayers so I wouldn’t suggest it. The potato salad has a bit too much mustard, but Everything else we tried on the menu was great. The oxtails was delicious! Seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere is great!!"
