"Stopped by on the way home from work. Got the Jamaican curry chicken and rice with fried plantains. The truck was easy to find and the lady at the counter was very nice. I ordered then waited around for my order. Unfortunately, there really isn't any place to sit. I guess most people order then wait in their car, because I was given a little buzzer contraption that told me when my food was ready. Food was ready after a short wait. Price was acceptable, but some items seemed a little pricey for my pocketbook. But it's understandable because everything was quality. Now the food. The chicken and rice was wonderful. It wasn't spicy and it doesn't have the flavor of Indian curries. It's a flavor all its own. The chicken was moist and tender and super well seasoned. The only drawback that I found was that the chicken has bones in it and it makes it harder to eat easily. The rice was perfectly done. I tried the plantains and found i didn't particularly care for them but my husband liked them. The little cabbage salad side was amazing. I don't like cabbage, I don't usually eat cabbage. I LOVED this cabbage. Overall, my husband and I score it a strong B+!!! Worth a try, definitely will eat there again."

"This is really a hidden gem! Got Jamaican jerk chicken and oxtail stew. They are sooooo delicious!!!! Oxtail is tender. Chicken is juicy. We'll definitely go back again to try other dishes."

"Definitely a hidden gem in the city. Oxtail stew is the best I've ever had. And the rice is well cooked. Definitely no over cooked rice grains. Jerk chicken is delicious as well"
