Dave's Hot Chicken

"Order at the counter, find a seat, and when you are buzzed, you go grab your food. The walls were painted so fun. There are TV's with sports on to watch. I got the 2 slider meal with fries. Loved the pickles, sliders were good. The fries were good, but in a fry industry, not the top. The sauce tasted like a wanna be Cain's sauce. My daughter got the cauliflower tender and slider. This was just a big, non seasoned, fried piece of cauliflower. I would pass on this. Stick with the chicken. With the 2 meals and 2 drinks...our total came out to $39. I don't think it was worth $39. Positives-Slaw and pickles Negatives-Price and cauliflower tenders"

"Loved it! So good! I'm big on food freshness and quality, and apparently so are they! The chicken was really good consistency. Firm yet soft. Fresh. It's Nashville style so it's a little sweet. I got the medium flavor which wasn't hot at all. But just enough for some great flavor. If you want spicy, I would choose hot or higher. There was the TINIEST bit of kale slaw in the sandwich, which added dynamic and crunch. Also contained pickles and their house sauce. It also came with pickles on the side and they were great. Very tasty and perfect thickness!! Would really come in handy to take the edge off if you went with a spicy flavor. Yum!! the fries seasoning is good as well. Kind of Cajun style it reminded me of. They were perfect consistency and perfectly fresh. The sandwich is called a slider but the size is substantial!!! It’s no KFC Chicken Little. Man I want to go back right now!!"

"This was my first time having Dave's Hot Chicken and I was really impressed! Service was fine, nothing special, we didn't interact with the lady for long. The atmosphere was fun. But the food is the real star of the show here! I order two tenders, cheese fries, and kale slaw. I like spicy food so I order mine "hot" (there were two spice levels higher) and it was definitely that! The coating of the chicken was perfectly crispy and the chicken was juicy and had none of the "chewy bits" that some restaurant chicken has. The sauce that comes with the chicken was good as well. I couldn't put my finger on what was in the sauce. It seemed something like honey mustard but it had a distinct flavor of pickle. It also came with honey which I'm not usually a fan of but MAN was it good on this chicken! The kale slaw brought a really nice freshness to cool the heat from the chicken. The fries were standard crinkles and the cheese was a nacho type cheese sauce. Nothing special there. The kale slaw was definitely the superior side."

"Great chicken! Hot is my fav, medium was really good without setting your mouth on fire. Seasoning is a very messy and dusty but good. I was wishing for less dust but the flavor is good. Fries are good. Pickles are fresh. The sandwich was really good with the slaw and honey. Dave’s sauce reminded me of cane’s but sweeter. Honey on the hot chicken was my fav! Def will come back for lunch sometime."

"Very swanky dining room. TV’s round with music playing. The food is not what I expected! The hot was hotter than anticipated, but I loved it. The slaw was very good compliments on the sandwich as well. I thought the slider would be small, but it’s basically the size of a normal sandwich. Would definitely return. I didn’t see anything for children to eat."
