Mamaveca Mexican and Peruvian Restaurant

"The first time we ate here was really good. It was late lunch around 2 pm. The next time, it was around 5 pm and not so good. Maybe it was a different chef or something, but it was definitely not as it was the first time. It's still good but not great. The house margaritas are always awesome!"

"It was very nicely decorated with lots of colorful paintings and tiles. We came early on a Sunday so our food came out very quickly, I was well impressed. The queso was good but the salsa was very average. I didn't enjoy the tostada's, the meat just wasn't great but was okay enough. We also were not impressed by the burrito plate. It was mostly rice on the plate and inside the burrito it was also the majority filled with rice. There may be other items we could enjoy. I would try it again."

"You need to eat here... this is not your typical Mexican restaurant. It doesn't look like much when you drive up, but I believe it's the best Mexican food I've ever had (and I've been to Mexico a few times). I haven't tried the Peruvian food there yet, but I definitely will!! We ate here yesterday, and the service was quick and friendly. Restaurant, tables, booths were clean. The food was out of this world. Next-level taste. I had Paola's special, which was basically fajita filling topped with cheese. The steak was tender, the veggies perfectly cooked and not smothered in oil. But whatever they marinated or cooked it in just kicked it up too my list of incredible meals. It looked simple, but tasted 5-Star. Also a scoop of Fresh guacamole!! My mouth is watering just thinking about all that, I definitely need to go back. Try this. I'm sure you won't be disappointed."

"This place is probably one of the best Mexican/Peruvian places I've ate in Oklahoma. The service was amazing and very attentive. I will gladly make the 30 mile drive there again."
