"We - a party of 4 - dined here one late afternoon mid March. We got seated fairly quickly - but it took about 10 minutes before the server got to our table to take our order. They have a very nice selection of food and beverages. The food got served within an acceptable waiting time and it tasted very nice. Only minus was that two of the four bowls was not really warm. As if they had been ready to be served for a while but not served in a timely manner."
"This was the first time i visited here, short answer, the food was very good, and the service was very good. It will be a splurge for me to go there in the future, decide between here and a steakhouse. I asked for their most recommended dish, and it was great. Not even sure what it was. Description, from my side, is a spicy pork rice bowl with egg. (See photo)"
"Great spot to get your ramen fix. We first ordered our drinks after being greeted and shown to our booth. My husband ordered the blueberry saki bomb. It tasted like a blue slushie that you get from a gas station but w/ liquor in it. It was very good and gave you a nice lil' buz. I especially liked the chashu bun and the shareable fried calamari. My Tonkatsu Chashu Ramen was delicious. I added mushrooms and fish cake. The mushrooms were very flavorful and tasted like they had been marinaded in a terriyaki type of flavoed marinade. My husband ordered the bulgogi ramen. It was also so yummy. The only thing I didn't particularly care for was the side dipping sauce for the shareable fresh fried calamari. I believe it was plain regular mayonnaise. I have never had that as a choice dipping sauce and would not recommend anyone to. I definitely advise against this choice and suggest some type of sweet & sour sauce, maybe a sweet asian chili sauce or eel/ unagi sauce or even good ol' fahion cocktail sauce but definitely not what was served that resembled plain mayo. Granted, you could ask for spicy mayo instead, but I was wanting something w/ a lil more tang. Other than that... I highly recommend stopping by to try this restraunt and it's food yourself. Hopefully, they'll have better and more option choice dipping sauces. Thank you, Taki Ramen Management and staff, for providing such a clean restraunt, fresh and tasty food, and great customer care and service. We will definitely be back!"
"The ramen here is great. I don’t like how they braise their pork with a torch, but it was still delicious. I got a large tonkatsu, a bottle of soju, and a large beer for a super reasonable price. There were 7 in our party, but we didn’t have to wait long. Everyone loved their meals and we couldn’t stop talking about how it all reminded us of being in Japan and Korea again. It was more about the memories it brought back to us. The staff were super friendly as well."
"This is my second time visiting Taki Ramen. It was a hit and miss experience. Our first trip was amazing so maybe it was an off night. First, beware the yakisoba. If you are a fan of the distinct flavor of bonito mixed with a smoky brisket and smoky sauce then you may enjoy it, but I prefer my bonito in a soup. Subtle and complimentary, not front and center. This is the major reason for 3 stars. We had the bulgogi soft bun and they were delicious. Don't laugh but slightly reminiscent of a sloppy joe taste. This is not bad just an idea of expected flavor. The ingredients were all well balanced and seemed to be quality. I had the chi-bob with seoul pop sauce. It was spicier than expected but tasty. The portion was a bit less than I would've liked, but who can tell with costs these days. Finally, my wife had the bulgogi rice. It was the best dish tonight. Just fatty enough beef with great rice and fresh corn, pickled jalapenos, green onion, and sauce. The combination was satisfying, rich and clean tasting all at once. I recommend it. I marked down service because while it was fairly busy our wait was significant. Even for our drinks. My wife's drink order was incorrect and the bill was wrong. We paid the extra money on the bill because we like small business, but it was an annoyance. If you've made it this far...I still highly recommend a stop, but stick to ramen, apps, and curry. Oh and the bulgogi. Update: Had the aka ramen 1/2 spice for lunch. Great spice and flavor. Had bonito fries. Amazing! The buns are always great"
