"Saturday night is Steak Night, and they do not disappoint! My ribeye is always delicious! Cooked to order and covered with mushrooms and onions. The baked potatoes are HUGE and well-stuffed. The salad bar is simple but good, the coffee hot and fresh to compliment the dessert. The Haystack is a simple country cafe with excellent fois and friendly folks! Two Thumbs Up and 5 Stars!"

"We happened on this cafe while out driving. The ribeye steak was excellent. It came with the salad bar and a side. The steak was so large that we shared it and got our own salad bar and side. Still more food than we could eat. I will definitely stop again when I am in Higgins, Texas!"

"We just discovered this little gem. We came of for an office lunch and we werent disappointed. They make home-made loaves of bread for the the table, with honey butter. AMAZING !!! Thank you for a great lunch Shattuck Dentistry and Braces girls will definately be returning!!!"

"I can't begin to tell you how great this place is! Fresh homemade bread sand buns. Huge delicious burgers ans handcut fries to the best hand breaded chicken fries. But they topped it off with yummiest home made pie! So good my sister wants to start eating here 3 days a week. LOL"

"Cute little cafe. Food is very good (fresh baked mini bread loafs are wonderful). For a small cafe their salad bar is surprisingly top shelf. Have never gotten a bad meal, we go whenever we can for a nice, food comfort options."
