"Closed for the season and there are two lakes in the park but no place to swim outside of a pool? How about a couple tons of sand on a 15’ strip of shoreline? Maybe?"

"Many activities year round make this a regular destination for our family. I love how it is reasonably priced and well managed so it's a good experience every time."

"We were aware of the restricted days/hours. Arrived at 12:45 on the Wed of the week previous to July 4th with 92° temps. The line was shorter, but was a quickly moving line. Bath house was appropriately clean. They allowed us to bring in water bottles and chairs, not supposed to bring food. Nonswimmers had to pay the full price, still a bargain in our book. There were a lot of swimmers, but the large water features handled the crowd well. There were a goodly number of shaded areas, but they were quite full with limited chairs. The snack line was always long. The area was well taken care of by attentive staff. Our for grandchildren (ages 8-15) had a great time for the nearly three hours we were there. I would avoid the days adjacent to weekends, but we'd come back."

"Got rid of the pretzels with cheese (the best thing they've ever had to eat there) and cut down on the days they are open. lucky for me, they are closed on every day I have off...yay. I get businesses are struggling but it's just disappointing."

"Walk in the door and find 2 roaches (HUGE) called the office and they sent a safety guy who tried to explain they weren't the bad ones! Um ok. About an hour later huge bumble bee nest above the door leading in. I've stayed in several cabins and they were perfect!! Very dissatisfied and when I mentioned I should get a partial refund... nothing. Not sure if or when I'd go back."
