"Had a great time! Kids loved it and want to come back. Highly recommand for a quick getaway. Even the dog had a good time and was worn out by the end of the weekend! Staff was kind and accommodating."
"The park is well-maintained, making it an excellent spot for picnics and relaxation. We love to come here for hiking, archery, paddle boat ride, shooting, has nice splash park. Platte River Park is a delightful destination. Highly recommended for a peaceful outdoor experience!"
"This was a great place for vacation. We went as a group of 15 people with 2 kids. We rented 3 cabins, 6 people in each. Inside the cabin there was one queen bed and one bunker bed. Weather was too hot, thus one cooler wasn’t sufficient for us. Common washrooms were okay, not that much cleaner. We enjoyed outside areas pretty much. With every cabin they had BBQ spot with table and bench. They also had a common picnic spot. Trails, paddle boats, archery, splash park, watch tower everything we enjoyed. For kids the splash park is a must, only costs $3/ person, really worthy. It’s a nice place to spend your weekend there."
"It’s a ok state park. We rented a cabin and it needed to be weeded around the place. The bathroom/shower area could’ve used a deeper cleaning. The toilet paper was always out, and spiders webs inside. The sinks were not cleaned for a few days. It seemed to me that the other side was being taken care of better. And the cabin we stayed in was very clean. Found soda cans under the bed. The horse back riding was nice. The staff there at the staples were great."
"This was a great family vacation spot. There are modern and basic cabins. We stayed in the Goldenrod cabins which had a queen and 2 bunk bed sets. The AC unit actually kept it cool enough and though there wasn’t a bathroom. The community shower/bathrooms were close and fairly clean. The playground is newer and probably the one of the cooler ones I’ve seen. The park also had a small lake with paddle boats to rent. There are smaller ponds connected to the bigger lake called Crawdad Creek and the kids can wade in them and try to catch frogs and tadpoles. The Spray Park cost $3/person but well worth it. There’s slides and it’s a two level splash pad that occupied the kids for hours. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back."
