Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska is a non-profit organization located at 3350 10th Street in Gering, Nebraska. Our agency was established in 1965 and offers a variety of programs to over 8,000 people in Western Nebraska.

Additionally, we are currently accepting appointments for our Holiday Food and Gift Program, which runs from October 2nd to November 30th. To schedule an appointment, please bring proof of all household income to our main admin location at 3350 10th Street in Gering.

"A lot of great people work here and I’ve been going here for medical services for years. Despite how much I love my doctors there I will no longer be using these services. Billing is an absolute nightmare! They switched billing systems and so every time I went in and asked about a bill they said I don’t have a balance and looked like insurance covered things. Come to find out my billing was lost in the old system so I never received my bills and kept getting told no balance till one day I received a letter in the mail from a collections agency regarding a balance with capwn. when trying to dispute this with capwn they gave the run around and basically said I’m screwed. Never missed a bill in my life till this whole mess! Get your act together capwn billing I never even received a call or letter about this till it was too late! I also filled out 3 or 4 change of address sheets yet they still failed to get the address changed which has screwed up billing with other medical services that they referred me too because they gave them a bad address which luckily I caught quick enough that it didn’t effect anything with those providers. If you receive state or federal coverage for medical services this place is great! if you’re the average middle class steer clear!"

"I have switched all of my medical to this place and I'm so thankful that I did. After so much frustration with the hospital's billing department, I decided to give CAPWN a whirl and I've not had a single issue with anything ever since. Bills come, they show exactly what was billed for, and I call and pay it like a normal business/client relationship happens. There is no 3rd party. You talk to someone local in the office if you have questions and they will go over your bill in detail with you and make sure your questions get answered. I see Danielle Rose and she's incredible! She's resolved issues I've dealt with for many years. They do physical exams, reproductive health, blood work, med management, and so much more. If you're questioning things where you currently doctor at, I highly recommend this place. All of the doctors that I've encountered and the nurses are always smiling and pleasant. There's a girl at the front desk named Alicia (I think) and she's so kind, always happy, remembers names, and makes checking in an easy process. I may be a little old school, but all of those things are important in my opinion."
"The dental team is confusing and has basically refused to help us for months giving us the run around, they won’t let you set an appointment they insist you show up 4 hours before they open and wait for their one dentist to decide if they want to see you! I can not even leave an actually review on the work they do as they won’t even see me. I hope someone else can actually get help, but as far as our experience it has been the worse and I would not recommend. It would be worth it to travel to a different place."
