"Came down from Denver for a funeral. Was woken up at 1:25am after being bit by a bed bug. Had to wake up my 80 yr mother and daughter. Turned on all the lights,went to front desk to speak to manager Valerie. Explained the situation, where I was basically told I brought the bug. Rather than get upset, asked for another room it's 1:30am,and I have a 80yr old mother on a machine,and I had to wake her up check her and her bed. Now I need to unhook her and move her to another room and set her up again. Valerie needs more customers service training. You should never accuse a person in the manner she did. What needs to be done, is clean the room #103,so you don't get issues with next customer. People I talked to said I should have gotten a refund but I was charged full price. And have not heard back from anyone higher up. DON'T stay in room #103."

"Have stayed in many hotels in the Gering/Scottsbluff area over the years and this hotel is hands down the best value. It’s clean, safe, comfortable, and affordable. Breakfast is included and honestly offers a decent variety of choices. We had to check out early but the front desk agent was super understanding and accommodating of that. We appreciated it greatly. 10/10 customer service."

"I didn't expect this to be better than it was because of the price. Also my brother used to live in the area and this is where he said to stay it was supposed to be the best. The breakfast was okay they had eggs and potatoes which were okay, the kielbasa was good, yogurt ,cereal, pancakes... The rooms were nice we had a room that could be an adjoining room but we weren't using the other room so the doors were all locked. There's a TV, a microwave, and a mini fridge, 2 queen beds, a desk, single cup coffee/tea maker, and bathroom. There was a safe in the room we didn't use it. There were two entrances but they wanted you to use the main entrance and not the back. The pool was gross but we still swimming because that's the kids wanted to do. The floor felt like there was sand all over it you could smell the water it was gross not like chlorine smell either. They did have a nice bathroom in there that you could shower in they had some towels available out there for you to dry off with. There was another family of like 4 when we went down we kind of tried to divide the pool up but it was a small pool. There are steps to get into the pool which is nice and there's also a ladder and there is a chair as well. There's a store across the street if you need anything which is nice. And this was actually fairly close and really easy to find for where we were going cuz we're going to the Scotts bluff national monument."
