"SIX POSITIVES AND ONE NEGATIVE I haven't been to a movie in the theater since at least 2019 (not entirely Covid related. We had young children). I took our kids to a movie at the Grand downtown recently, and we had a few takeaways: 1) it was a Friday night, and the place was almost dead. That made it nice for us because there was no waiting for anything. But I was surprised. There were no new openings that weekend, so that probably contributed. 2) we really appreciated the service. Both at the ticket counter and the concessions, the staff was courteous, engaged, and informative. They actually saved us some money by highlighting various opportunities. 3) My oldest son (11yo) also remarked at his clean it was. 4) We just had popcorn and soda, so we can't comment on the food options. 5) There were a few intense scenes in the movie we watched, which spurred our 6yo to crawl on my lap (the villains in Wonka were particularly convincing to her). I was very thankful for the comfy dreamlounge seats. Felt like home. 6) Our kids also thought the vault door that was preserved from an old bank was a really cool part of the architecture. In their words, "it looks like the vaults in Fortnite!" 7) The only negative was that the online ticket sales didn't have all the showings. We booked ahead. Although we enjoyed the movie we saw, if we had all the options when we purchased online, we would have picked a different movie. If you're planning a family outing, you might want to call rather than rely on the website. Overall, it was a great place to enjoy theater as a family."

"It was like -40° outside, and they were still open and still warm. Reclining seats were super comfortable, and price was surprisingly not too bad at all. Will definitely check them out again next time I'm in town for a conference. Also, Aquaman 2 sucked, choose a different movie lol."

"This evening was absolutely amazing!! The most commendable employee and terrific experience at the movie theatre. Happy New Year!!! The bartender named Dylan has outstanding customer service, and the best work ethic! Dining experience was fabulous!! Please put this awesome downtown theatre on your list of places to go. All of the employees are extremely nice. Theatre is very clean and ran quite well. Great family environment!!! Happy Holidays!! Will let Omaha know it’s worth the drive to this wonderful place!!"

"Had a great time. The seats were comfy and they here heated and reclined as well. The theater was clean, the picture and sound were great. My only complaint is that I stood at the pickup counter for almost 10 minutes while I waited for someone to give me my stuff, and nobody acknowledged me either. Very frustrating to order ahead for a specific time and still have to wait."

"The seating is very comfortable! These lazy boy like chairs are enormous and recline. The popcorn is well buttered and the viewing experience is excellent. I’m coming from out of town, so having those large comfortable theaters where the ticket prices aren’t exorbitant is refreshing. I hope this can stay that way."
