"What a truly saver of a spot for us! Our heat wouldn't turn on during our road trip at 3am and we called this place and they answered and let us stay a few hours for a small fee!! Such a wonderful experience!! Thank you to the lady that answered at the late hour and was so sweet to help us!"

"NOTE: the rates listed on the website are outdated (they're working on updating this). The current rates are higher, and posted on the door of the clubhouse (I've included a photo). Current rates: Full Hook-Up: $43.00 with tax Tenting: $38.00 with tax Shower: $10.00 with tax I arrived around sunset. Only one other group at the site that night. The small sites each have a picnic table. I was staying in a one-person tent. The grass was weedy and lumpy, but comfortable enough. The owner showed up a bit after I arrived to talk to the campers. She had me meet at the clubhouse to register and pay. She was generous and friendly, and considerate about my confusion regarding the inaccurate rates on the website. The clubhouse was a nice surprise on my spartan cross-country road trip. Table, chairs, sink, coffee & condiments, TV with DVDs, cooler with drinks to purchase. The campground is close to the interstate, which meant quite a bit of noise throughout the night, but I managed to sleep comfortably. (I actually enjoyed the white noise.) I was glad to have this option near I-70 in a region with few other organized camping options. The cats are friendly!!!"

"This is a quiet open campground where you can set a tent, sleep in your vehicle, or have your camper. They have showers, bathrooms, a little gathering room with a TV, games, movies, drinks, microwave and other things. The lady at the office is so sweet and kind. I would stay again."

"Nita was wonderful to deal with. She called us back and we talked like we were old friends. No frills. A shower was nice and we were back on the road at 8 a.m. Hit the diner up for loaded biscuits and gravy before you leave."

"Inexpensive stopover on a farm right off the highway. No frills, but you have everything you need - full hookups, clean bathrooms, nice community room, WIFI, lots of TV channels on antenna, beautiful sunsets. Sites are $40 cash (including tax), $43 with credit card. Yes, there's road noise, but we didn't think it was a big deal. Recommended."
