Monument Inn & Suites

"Due to the nature of our stay at this hotel, I feel it’s necessary to write this review prior to the completion of our stay; We came across this hotel while trying to find alternative options from a hotel we initially checked into. Unfortunately the previous hotel we checked into did not meet our standards, so we reached out to The Monument Inn and right off the bat Asha introduced herself and was VERY accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure that The Monument Inn was going to be our “home away from home”. Asha was super accommodating and after getting everything situated with the previous hotel, I booked the remainder of our stay here. After being settled in, I am super happy with our decision. Not only was Asha AMAZING, but the room is clean, comfortable and the amenities offered are great! I would recommend The Monument Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay while in town."

"Staff is very nice as well as the facility itself. Rooms are comfy and clean. I stayed in a queen suite, which has a small, but dedicated sink in the kitchenette along with a microwave and decent size mini fridge with a small freezer section. The room also has a pullout sofa that is separated from the bed area by the kitchenette. The only issue is that the toilet takes two hits on the handle to flush, and it doesn't have much flow. "Breakfast" is okay, not much choice: scrambled eggs, French toast, and make your own waffles. There are only two choices of cereal and instant oatmeal. It would be nice to see yogurt and some sort of meat option added, or even biscuits and gravy. The location is good, there is a great little Chinese restaurant within walking distance as well as a Runza and a restaurant with 150 yards. Overall, it is an exception value."

"Went well til check out no water for a shower! Front desk gave great recommendations for local food. I am sure they didn't mean to work on their plumbing issue right before check out but after a hike a rinse off at least would have been nice."

"We did a 1 night stay with our Black lab. Front desk was really friendly. Rooms were clean, beds were ok. Our door was very hard to close, needs updated. The soap containers were empty. Breakfast was good with real French toast and eggs but wished there was a meat and some fruit and yogurt. Needs more variety for health conscious people."

"This was the perfect place for us to rest on our family trip. We drove up here from Denver CO and used this hotel as a mid point. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. If you need anything while here just ask. Their breakfast was actually real eggs and other good food which was super nice. Good vegetarian options. Hot water for tea. The place was quiet and comfortable."
