"I was looking for some hiking boots and came across Merrell at Nebraska Crossing in Gretna, NE. First, they have an amazing selection of hiking shoes and boots with great prices…but the customer service was exceptional! I will definitely shop again and recommend this store to anyone."

"Returned shoes purchased online. Was told by store staff that their return process was 'complicated'. After struggling to issue the refund, I noticed tax was not refunded and clerk made no mention almost like they were hoping we wouldn't notice. While they did, eventually, manage to refund most of the sales tax, there was still a difference of about $1.50 and I was told that's a 'shipping tax' that couldn't be refunded--there was NO 'shipping tax' shown on the receipt. This experience sours me on corporate policies and leaves store staff trying to defend something they don't understand. The store staff did what they could but I was left with an impression of them not really caring and that they didn't want to do the refund. Regardless how good the shoes may/may not be, I'm less inclined to purchase from any Merrell online/brick-and-mortar store again."

"Have purchased many merrel’s over the years and had great customer service. I wish that could have been continued at this store. Three employees were on the floor and not one of them tried to figure out a solution or offer assistance to help with a return. The eldest employee was rude and just kept repeating his statement when he should have offered specifics on policies. Seems more training is needed. Customer service on the telephone was much more helpful."
