"The 2018 Chev C2500 has been running rough. A mech in Auburn says the cat conv installed are the wrong ones and need to be replaced for $3000. Also the BCM and MAFS are bad and must be replaced. How could the cat conv be bad already? You do not make errors like this. After some research, Kelly is absolutely right. It is a case of operator error. Too much dirt into the air system caused the engine to run rich and burn the cat converters. Customers must check air cleaners and engine codes."
