The Taproom at Old Town

"Cocktails were seasonal and well balanced. Had the grilled trout and tuna wontons. Was delicious and fresh. The menu has changed a few times, which I love having variety. I feel like I need to try what’s new or on special everytime so I don’t miss out. Had to get the cranberry gingerbread cheese cake to go. Tasted just like Christmas. I want to go back to try the tamales, Tis the season after all."

"I freakin love this place. Sweet location, especially adorable front patio, and AWESOME beer and spirits (all their own). I particularly love the wine-barrel aged gin in a martini with an orange twist. And I’m always glad for a 20oz pint option. Staff is great too xxxx"

"Inventive new menu. Fabulous entries! Great cocktails. Creative. Complex. Delicious. Brisket enchiladadas were fantastic...in a town with hundreds of enchilada choices. Come here for this! Also inventive blue cheese polenta cake. Amazing. The desserts were the only slight slip but still worthy of 4 for flavor. Bread pudding was inventive but slightly dry. Could have used a bit more of the delicious caramel."

"The best part of The Taproom at Old Town has to be Kitsune! I ordered the spam fried rice, spam musubi, and green curry Thai fries. An incredibly delicious spin on Asian comfort foods. Undeniable favorites. The cocktails were delightful, with both the Taproom and Kitsune being stand alone hits if you’re in the mood for just one - or BOTH - like we did! There’s a paid parking lot across the street, making it easily accessible."
