"I brought my 25YO mare to SunDog from out of state 18 months ago, and she is thriving and happy here. This place is horse and rider heaven. The huge grassy pasture encourages horses to run, play and sunbathe. Grass round bales are fed in the pasture, and stall horses receive hay/grain per owners' specifications. Pasture horses may also be grained to owners' specifications. Stalls have nice-sized runs, and they attempt to turn out every stall horse for several hours daily. Experienced, caring staff live on-site, and the owners are there practically every day. They know my horse, send me photos of her, and keep me apprised of her condition when I am not there. Use of round pen, lit indoor arena, and large outdoor arena are included in the boarding fees. Beautiful riding trails lead out of the back of the property. Seven Downs Arena is just a few miles away, as is access to national forest and other riding venues. I and my horse could not be happier, and we look forward to many wonderful years at SunDog Stables."
