"I was complaining to a friend how I can’t find a good bagel in ABQ and she recommended this place. I walk in and immediately the music taste was fantastic as well as being an adorable little shop. The staff were extremely friendly and playful which is great to see. The bagel that I got was delicious, definitely the best bagel you can find in New Mexico!"
"Cute little bagel shop near Old Town, in a really fun walkable part of ABQ. Id just been cruising around on my day off and drove by Kaufman's and tried it on a whim. It was a great find! They had about 9 different bagels to pick from and a full menu of bagel combos and sandwiches. I got the simple egg and cheese on a sesame bagel with rosemary olive oil cream cheese. It was a great choice, the egg was scrambled soft and the schmear was delicious. I don't really have any criticisms, and look forward to my next sampling! The dining area is pretty small but there's lots of outdoor space. I think finding a way to eat on site is the way to go. The bagel was hot and crispy and I could see that getting ruined if you packed it up. Anyway, I'll be back! Check it out if you're looking for a new breakfast spot, I feel like it's gonna blow up."
"Had a delightful visit on a Saturday morning. The cozy atmosphere wasn't too crowded. Opted for the breakfast bagel (everything bagel with cheese and onion smear) and camomile tea – both satisfyingly filling. Friendly staff provided quick service, and the reasonable prices were a plus. Despite a minor hiccup with lettuce inclusion, easily resolved by just taking it off. The hot tea and boiled bagels added a genuine taste of New York to the Albuquerque experience."
"Best bagels in Albuquerque and the shop is so warm and welcoming! The blue corn bagels are amazing and NY rye is spot on. All of the bagels look amazing and I'm so grateful to have this gem nearby. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back."
"So even with their limited seating (totally understandable for a bagel shop), I need them to have a permanent chair for me, because I think the Kaufman Special will be my morning staple when visiting my fiancé. Lettuce crisp. Tomatoes juicy. Lox salted and brined to perfection. And the bagel toasted on the outside, while fluffy on the inside. And with the capers, I am sold. This lox on a bagel was a great start to my morning!"
