Takaimine Karate is a martial arts institution located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, offering classes for individuals of all ages. Established in 1985, our school focuses on teaching Tae Kwon Do, Derobio Escrima, Shoto Kan, and Shorin Ryu styles of martial arts. Tae Kwon Do, a Korean martial art, emphasizes head-height kicks and fast kicking techniques, while Escrima, a Filipino martial art, focuses on self-defense against multiple opponents. Shorin Ryu, developed in Okinawa, Japan, emphasizes kicks, punches, katas, and weapons training. Shotokan, a Japanese style of Karate, focuses on hand techniques, improving stamina, flexibility, and agility.
