"The instructor (Brewer) has both the knowledge and ability to teach martial arts concepts well. I appreciate that he's mindful of the students' personalities and their goals for taking marital arts. He gives good, constructive feedback. He is especially patient with students who have a limited martial arts background. As a traditionally male dominated sport, martials arts can be intimidating for some women (me!), but thankfully I was not mauled by a bunch brutes on my first day. :) I was paired with a famale upper belt and I enjoyed practicing/learning BJJ techniques. It was and continues to be a very respectful and welcoming environment for women. I'd highly recommend the adult/teen evening classes."
