Albuquerque North / Bernalillo KOA Journey

"The facility and staff were great. Bathrooms were clean and the campground was well maintained. We were staying in a roof top tent and the surrounding area is REALLY loud. Dogs barking all night, the sound of the highway. It was hard to get much sleep. Maybe its different in a RV but in the tent it wasnt great."

"This is a great journey location. Close to the highway, lots of pull thru sites. Didn’t use the amenities as we were only there for one night. Staff was friendly. Sites were clean. Overall, just what you are looking for in the level KOA!"

"The bathrooms and showers are clean, and the grounds are kept clean. There is some freeway noise, but not so much you can't sleep. This is a good stop for being in between Albuquerque and Santa Fe."

"One of the best KOA we have been to. Sites are small however the way they are arranged they felt plenty roomy. They escort you to your site. We like this being a 40 ft 5th wheel. All sites have artificial turf, gravel and a table. Dog park was very nice and lit at night. Staff was very friendly. We had no complaints, other than we wanted to stay longer but due to our schedule we could not. Will return if in the area."

"We live locally and just wanted a quick overnight getaway so we thought we’d check out the Bernalillo KOA. It is in a safe area and the sites are well-maintained. We had site p-18 which had a nice turf patio and was an easy pull-through spot that was completely level so we didn’t have to disconnect or use leveling blocks for the night which was nice! The bathrooms are extremely well-maintained and clean, with plenty of hot water, a baby changing station, and a separate baby-wash sink. There are 2 nice dog parks on site, a pool that runs may-October, and a great kids playground. Overall compared to other local options, we give this KOA 5 stars. It also has a walking trail connecting to next door Cactus Brewery."
