"Came here for sumac. Owner/staff were very kind and helpful. Got some baklava as well, and it was delicious."
"Ive been coming here since 2019 and theyve always been lovely and welcoming and i have never had a bad experience with the meat or items at the store. I never shopped anywhere else for the meats i want, theyve always answered the phone if not its simply because theyre cutting the meat. I love this store! I now drive 30 mins to get my meats from here. I truly appreciate them and how much effort they put in. If something is wrong i wish you would give them a chance to correct it ,they will they have never been mean to correct a mistake."
"Purchased chicken that had gone bad and hazelnuts that have been expired for over a year (see picture). The gentleman who sold us the chicken assured us that it was fresh. We tried to cook the chicken the same day of purchase, hoping that even though it looked iffy when we unpacked our groceries, maybe it was fine and would cook up okay. We had to throw it out (right along with the full bag of hazelnuts) and prepare an alternate dinner. Clearly, we were too trusting while shopping here, assuming that products would be current and meat would be fresh. It’s a shame that stores (especially those featuring halal meat) do not hold themselves to a higher standard and are not ashamed to sell expired food."
"We are extremely pleased about the quality of the meat and other food products (e.g., dates, coffee, etc.) that we purchased from here. The people working at the store are cordial, courteous, and accommodating. It is an honor and pleasure doing business with them. We never miss going to their store every time we drive to Albuquerque from Los Alamos. May Allah bless them and their business."
"The meat was very fresh and good. There is no smell to it, it's perfect. The pita bread is also delicious with huge portions. You have made new customers with us, we look forward to buying more halal meat from you in the near future."
