"Poor customer service. Took a long time to get my delivery because they forgot my order the first time they delivered. I guess they don't check voicemail before they make a trip. Make sure you're aware of the one hundred dollar delivery charge for each order. I was not aware of it until they arrived and requested payment."

"I was disappointed with the meat processing for my elk. I had almost 200lbs of boneless meat processed at Rustys and he did not do a good job. The meat was not cut as I ordered. Basically ended up mostly hamburger meat and hardly any steaks or roast. The roast I did get are the size of steak. When I inquired about it, he stated he didn’t know how it happened or why. No offer to make this right. Discount or anything. I was warned by others of the terrible service. I should have listened. I will not give them my business again and definitely warn others."

"Bagged my first ever Buck on the first Monday of hunting season, drove almost an hour down to Springerville from Hannagan Meadow to drop it off at Rusty's, service was great - dealt with rusty himself, he's a great guy. when it came time to pick up the deer I drove 7 hours straight (the long way) back up to Springerville and at 5pm on a Sunday, Rusty was in, waiting for my arrival - given it was much later than I had expected. he had my meat already packaged up and labeled clearly in vacuum sealed packages. he even carried the box out the door to my car for me and helped load it into the ice chest. overall great experience and would recommend Rusty's, will definitely go back again if I find myself hunting in the area next year."

"Just recieved deer from Rusty's, when I dropped off the deer I ordered Garlic Pepper sausage. But because of my history with previous processors I only bought 3 sticks. After tasting Rusty's recipe I wish I would have gotten more. Good job guys thank you for doing an excellent job with my deer."

"We used Rusty's meat shop in 2015 with no issue but this past year 2016 we had a terrible experience. We brought in more meat than the past year and received way less than we did in 2015. We paid half up front then got charged the second half on pick up plus an additional $1300 was charged to our credit card. When we called Rusty to fix the issue he said he would fix the over charge but he never did. Every phone call after that he wouldn't answer and several voice mails were left with no return call. We had to dispute the charge through the credit card company to get out money back and that took time. We will never use this shop again. I know I was shorted on my meat too!"
