"I go to LBJ now, and i did last year and planning on next year. The bullies are the worst part of LBJ but other wise, it's great. (Except homework...) It's a great place to make friends and the lunches are awesome! my personal reveiw is hat it's really good :D!"
"i’m in 6th. my personal experience was great. the teachers i have (nix, anderson, jaecks, buffington, kappus, and schindwolf) are super nice. mr. nix is slightly awkward and mr. kappus gives a little too much hw but they are really nice teachers. i can tell some staff/teachers are only there for their paycheck though. for example, the art teacher. i don’t have art personally but i’ve seen her in the band room and the fact that she gives students rude looks and stares of how they look/dress is absolutely disgusting. i’m sorry! but not everybody can dress to your standards. she even gave a gross look to me! cause oh maybe cause im not white like 70% of the school! yes honey! asian kids do exist! and again, the people in the front office. especially the one person in the back of the office. she always looks like she doesn’t want to be there. she just wants her money. her face even pissed me off. one staff that watches the kids at lunch was taking my phone away and looked super happy ab it. and when i was in the office trying to get it back after school, the lady in the office looked miserable. maybe some of these staff/teachers don’t suit well with kids."
"bullying policy is supposedly a 0 tolerance but nope they can careless! super rude teachers. you have to be good enough to hangout or make friends. teachers can care less about you. all they want is favorites. school experience sucked! dress code is way too strict!!!"
"Here's my rant on LBJ. First topic: School Dress Code Okay okay I know this isn't even close to the biggest problem in this school, but it's still a problem for most of us here attending LBJ and will be for future students. LBJ is a public school, not a private boarding school for governors rich daughters. So why is our dress code so strict? At LBJ staff is clear on how we should always express ourselves and be oh so happy with ourselves and how unique we are! So answer this school board/principal/staff.... How are we supposed to express ourselves when we all look like identical clones made in some government lab? Sure we can do our hair a certain way, but is that really all? Our hair? Also not trying to be a feminist, but the girls have to wear clothes a certain way so y'all can feel pleased were covered enough? We can't even show our shoulders! If you're a guy and her turned on by my shoulders then you have serious issues. It's really pointless and super strict. My shirts can't be too tight or too baggy or too short or too long. How am I supposed to determine what's too long or too short? This is based on someone's stupid sexist opinions no one gives a crap about. So why is it enforced? Also for less financially fortunate families you offer free lunch, you know why they're probably in debt right now? They probably spent the rest of their life savings and hours searching to find something that pleases our dear dear principal! Thoughts seriously, I spent days, yes DAYS looking for a warm enough jacket that matched this stupid dress code. It was quite snowy and cold and the only jackets I could find for dress code were very very thin black jackets. So I ended up just using my black jacket I had at home that was very warm and perfect for the weather, and can you guess what happened? I got in trouble, for simply trying to stay warm for winter! My jacket has two white SMALL stripes on the very top of the arm sleeves, and my science teacher and the principal were OH SO TRIGGERED BY MY JACKET! So they wouldn't let me wear it, so I went jacket less until it was warm. Can I file a law suit? Can you answer this my dear staff, are you that triggered by my jacket, and do you really think boys drool over my shoulders? Topic 2: Honestly, the staff. The staff make the school year an honest nightmare for me. Now I'm not talking about all the staff. But I'm not going to be nice and "not say any names omg!" NO. I'm saying names. Deal with it. First is our oh so dear little angelic art teacher, Ms.Antillion! I'm not going to over exaggerate for the pity or anything but this teacher, shouldn't be a teacher. First off, she picks favorites. Yes yes, every teacher has one, but they don't purposely and crudely show that. She blatantly puts it so directly to us that she only favors the students with let's say "bigger egos". The rest of the staff is just about the same, favorites favorites. The teachers treat me like crap. This learning system isn't how I'm going to learn. POINTLESS LESSONS, STANDARDIZED TESTS, THEN FORGET POINTLESS LESSONS. No point. This doesn't determine who I am. Okay but the staff, they only care about their freaking paychecks. WE DONT MATTER. They'll attack you if you don't do something right because it might affect their ego as a teacher. Topic 3: Sorry I don't care how crude this sounds, students. These immature little brats are unbearable. It's immature of ME to mention this but I don't care. This has to be addressed. There is about THREE+ fights a day, kids pulling knives on others behind school. Ridiculous. Education doesn't matter OH NO don't ever begin to think that! If you're not pretty, or good looking in all these shallow people's eyes, then don't bother trying to make friends! Oh god forbid I wear black clothes so I'm automatically evil and perform witchcraft in my spare time! The bullying is out of control, these girls are out of control. They take nude photos and show them to boys at lunch. Boys go girl to girl to girl. Whoops character limit exceeded! I will continue. I will be back ;)"
"My school experience here SUCKED,this school SUPPOSEDLY had a 0 tolerance policy which meant to me that if you are getting bullied, suck it up buttercup, the "staff" in the office only care about their next paycheck,i HIGHLY reccomend IF you do enroll your kids here, expect lots of BS parent teacher meeting over the stupidest things, also with some teachers if your kids DO NOT have a religion some of the teachers WILL fail your child out of spite,i know this for a fact, some teachers that i knew are relaxed but are great at their jobs, others shouldn't even be teachers...Finally you're better off sending your kid to school WITH a bag lunch as you need to make a little account to put money in so your kid can "buy" lunch at school like the other "cool" kids....i preferred a bag lunch because i could take whatever i wanted to school as lunch. The thing i hated the most about this school was the fact that they FORCED you to do as they said AND you have to carry all of your books to and from school, now i weighed my backpack one day and i wasn't surprised to see it weighed 80 LBS,no wonder i had a messed up spine and was always leaning forward,Another thing,IF YOUR CHILD SHARES A LOCKER BE PREPARED TO HAVE TO BUY SEVERAL LOCKS FOR SAID LOCKER,students have been seen and known to steal their locker buddies lock and keep it for themselves.i had 2 locks stolen and one broken, nothing of value was stolen but it was irritating to say the least."
