"Me and my husband Jeff were staying in Deming, and we stopped by the building to use tbd restroom, and we were even wearing our masks. Apparently, the building was supposed to be closed, but the “open” sign was still on the door. The lady was very rude to us, and looked down upon us, saying how they’re closed and not allowed to let anyone in the building. If that’s the case, the “closed” sign should’ve been on the door instead, and the building locked. She treated us like we were low lifes, but it was obvious she had no idea who she was talking. My husband is retired from the military, and I’m a travel writer and photographer. She really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover."
"On July 16, 2020, I had 2 Deming School Buses pull into my gas station. The first guy needed to be told a couple time to put on a mask. The second “lady” yelled until she was red in the face because I told her she need to have a mask on to enter my building. I was shocked and appalled by this behavior and her raging temper. It was extremely uncalled for. Not to mention they work with the school system in NM and KNOW our mask mandate. They were bus numbers 23 &26, passing through Socorro, NM."
