"Cold environment. Staff uninviting drab!"

"I sent my children here last year, it was terrible. Up until then they had attended charter schools, but I wanted to give the local pub lic school a chance. Big mistake. My daughter's teacher was out of class more than she was there, the teacher "lost" my daughters year book and her class pictures. I had to contact the office to get them replaced because the teacher did nothing. Because she was out so much her class was out of control. My son was bullied but they tried to make him out to be the bad kid. They did nothing to stop it but somehow it was my son's fault. The only good thing was his teacher, he actually cared about my son. This year I pulled all my kids out of this school and sent them to a charter school, they are so much happier and enjoy school again."

"Honestly I hate to talk badly about any school, but I feel like it's important for others parents. This school doesn't do a very good job at communicating with the parents, I had to contact the principal just to get any type of understanding about how my daughters teacher runs his class. I feel like school should be a community, but I definitely don't get that positive vibe here. Also the administration staff is very rude, when I walk in the door they look at you like your a inconvenience to them. I shouldn't feel like that as a parent coming into your kids school. I will not be enrolling her next year, probably be transferring her to a different school."

"Comanche ES is a wonderful school. There is a lot of staff change over this year, but it has been good. My son is in 5th grade and has had wonderful teachers for the most part! I would be happy to enroll him again (if we had to start all over). The staff is nice and most of the parents are. However, a few of the parents get to be clicky with their groups, but if you ignore them, then you will be just fine."
