"My son attended SVES since kindergarten. Up until this year, it had been a pleasant experience. Word of advice do not let your kids be in Mr. G's classroom, he is someone who told my son that he deserved to be kicked in the private parts by a boy who was in his class. This little boy also kept in a sense bullying my son with nothing being done. Also, nothing was done in regards to Mr. G telling my son he deserved this (and other parents have already complained on him). Mrs. Rivera the vice principal will tell you that they did what they could, when her son is also a bully. Also, try to keep your kids out of Ms. Hayner's 4th grade classroom. I admit children could be a little difficult at times, but not to the point of not helping them and making them feel like a target. My son came home so deflated in so many instances. She also does not spell correctly in some instances, which makes me wonder what kind of education she is actually providing. I ended up moving my son to a different school. Please just pay attention to your children's feelings, and what they tell you. It may not always be the case, but just pay attention when it comes to this school. I will miss the people who truly cared about the development of my son, but in all honesty this school has really taken a turn for the worst. I would like to say a lot more, but I feel this is enough at this time."
