"I came to this school when it was made i was here in kindergarden in 2009 and left the school in 2nd grade in 2012 and it brings back memories and this school is great the teachers and staff are amazing i miss so much teachers here"
"Very very rude front desk staff..I don't like this school at all it seems like they don't care for the kids. They have rude staff in the cafeteria as well.. I don't have another choice that's why my children still go there.."
"Some of the faculty did an excellent job in spite of the oversight and the difficult environment. There were multiple issues with bullying and unethical treatment of students."
"This school is very unorganized. I was very dissatisfied with registration, as my son somehow wasn't in their system, yet attended the pre-k program offered at Helen Cordero the previous year. The front secretary is beyond rude and very unhelpful. It would be a wise decision on the schools part to find new staff. Staff who are actually educated in their field would be very beneficial to not only the parents, but the students. I do like Ms. Sickenger. She is a teacher who demonstrates professionalism and compassion toward her students and parents. I would like to see improvements, but highly doubt that it will happen. I do wish that I could switch districts, at this point that would be an amazing decision for my son."
"I hate this school! I am so sick of the administrative staff yelling at us like we are children but then went respect back. I only have my child in this school because at this point I have not other choice. They are ridiculous. You have to walk your child to the back of the school to get them to class every morning which can take up to 10 minutes to walk there due to lack of parking and if you take a short cut you get yelled at like a child. For me to register my two youngest it took over 3 hours because they only allow two parents in at a time, then on meet the teacher day my daughter was not even registered for any class yet. So I had to wait in like for over 30 minutes to talk to the principal who put my child in a overly full class. My daughter got attached to the teacher and then they moved her to a different class. And she is still not fully in their system. Safety is what they preach but you can walk right on campus without even worrying about staff stopping you. I think it would be more common sense to only allow parents in from the front of the school where the office is and not the back. Only thing I like is my daughters teachers who sadly I have talked with some of the teachers and they agree with the parents. If I were you.. avoid this school as much as possible until they get a better administrative staff. (Ex. Principal, vice principal)"
