"Dr Stiner is well versed and knowledgeable Pulmonary Specialist. However his bed side manner is lacking and unacceptable. He is rude and overbearing, and arrogant. He didn't listen to my fathers or siblings questions or concerns, but demanded patient/family compliance with his care plan, threatening discharge from his care for any deviations. My father has been hospitalized several times over the last two years, for exacerbation of COPD/asthma, with 2 occasions where he missed scheduled visits with Dr Stiner. The Hospitalist consistently ordered urgent follow up visits with pulmonary upon my fathers hospital discharge. However, with attempts to schedule/reschedule visits, we were informed of missed visits, and therefore scheduled 2 to 3 months after, despite Hospitalist physicians discharge instructions. Again, Dr Stiner is highly astute in his speciality and the only pulmonary specialist in Grant County. Its a shame that he lacks compassion, and humility and respect of the human aspect of patient care."
