"A great stop over with clean bathrooms and nice hikes. There are 5 electric sites, and we lucked into one. Cell reception is very sketchy unless you go to the visitor center by the self pay station."
"Nice campground, no playground, no sewer or dump stations, water is seasonal as is Wi-Fi. A few sites have electric. Vault toilets."
"We were able to find a couple spots where our 40 fifth wheel fit. We used site 19 with electric. Site 21 with electric would have been an easier fit but a tent camper took the largest site for themselves. I suppose that's what first come means though. We made it work. However, all of the potable water spigots had locks on them. We went to the camp host who informed us she was off duty and the locks are on there because people steal water. We just wanted to fill our tank enough for our visit. She said, "this is not an RV park." She said we should use a bucket. We made dye with what we had. The hiking was great! Nice trails, not handicapped accessible if you need that."
"Great campground campground $5 a night. Three sites have electrical hookups. Bathrooms are very clean. Water spigots at the bathrooms also have a group campsite."
"I believe this campground is the best I've stayed at! Clean! From the latrines, to the sites, to the trails... AND the trails are great for those who like a nice path with lots of beautiful scenery that your dog can also enjoy. There are signs telling you about many of the sites you'll see on your way and even a gazebo where the trails branch off (with a map). The sites are large, well spaced with lots of trees and shrubbery to give you the privacy we all like to have. There's a give one, take one little library at the visitor's center, which also provides WiFi if you need it, like I did. You can sit in the little cabin, do your internet taskd and enjoy some memorabilia about the campground. Quite interesting information about the wells. I simply loved it here. $5/night."
